so I'm watching The Longest Yard on satellite. I'm enjoying it more this time than I did at the theatre. I still prefer the original, but the men are much nicer to look at in this remake. :D I also prefer the music in the remake.

Burt Reynolds, for many obvious reasons, was much more believable as a pro quarterback than Sandler. The next time you watch it, watch Sandler in the scene where they inmates are playing in the mud pit. I love the man, but he DOES NOT move like an athlete--not even an average high school athlete.

Okay, thanks for letting me ramble and say things I'm sure were covered when the movie first came out.

I wish I could sleep....

Strangely, I was just sitting here considering the prescription pain pills in my medicine cabinet. They are the only things that make me sleepy without fail. Not that I'm promoting abuse of prescription drugs, but do you know what kind of cr@p is on TV by this time?

Trust me. I'm already down too many brain cells as it is. I can't afford to lose anymore.

Buy meletonin(Natrol brand or comparable) for those restless nights. Take it an hour before bedtime and you'll be asleep 15 minutes ahead of schedule. It's a natural hormone that is responsible for one's sleep cycle.:)
