we have to do something with lidge, i dont konw what but he is a joke now.....the whole team is kinda a joke.....we just throw the balls around, give up homers in every critical situation, and manage to strike out or ground into a double play when we have to score runs....the season is over if we dont wake up and play better...

Typical Cub fan, Aaron...you're reduced to cheering for the misfortune of others.:p

1. Texans blow the draft
2. Cubs still suck
3. Mavericks lost the series...

yeah... its been a bad year.

The first base coach may have been just as responsible for the out. It looked like his foot might have hit the base but had the first base coach kept his mouth shut and not yelled for him to come back the umpire might not have noticed. But the Astros probably wouldn't have got him in anyway. It is just another mar in this disasterous season going from World Series Finalist to no playoffs. :(

Maybe it's time I threw in the towel on the Stros. It's worked the last couple of years...the exact minute I said "they're done" they turned it around.

Besides, they're still in the thick of the playoff hunt since no one in the NL is exactly setting the world on fire.

he just needs to throw his slider for strikes. guys are just sitting on his fastball because they know he can't throw his slider for a strike. if he gets that down, he will be back to himself.

Then what are you waiting for?

I'll wait and see how they do on that first road trip out of the break (Marlins, Cubs, and Mets). If they stink it up I'll play the "done" card.

Besides, I'm the one who said "plan the parade" in the 4th quarter of Game 3 of the Finals when the Mavs were up 12, so I have a proven track record with this type of thing...;)
