What's the best? And I'm not talking about something I can't get unless I go to California, I'm talking HEB, Wal-Mart and Dollar General wine (or maybe some place in Austin/SA/Houston or something)???

I got bored waiting for Wal-Mart to change my oil today and went to look at the beer they had there and saw whine...

Is that Llano Estacado stuff any good? I read the back of the bottle and it said something about them having national and international awards...

also said something about it tasting good with turkey, though  :(

Llano Estacado

The winery is in Lubbock (they may have expaned  ), any way it is pretty good as far as I remember.... It has ben a while, we toured the Winery at a Jaycee convention one year.

Can you imagine taking a bunch of Jaycees to a Winery...:D :D :D

Jacob's Creek is a really good Australian wine. The Reserve wines are a little bit more, but the Reserve Shiraz is REALLY good. A good Shiraz with a couple of good steaks is one good meal!

There was a time when I was looking for a good, but not too expensive red wine. Somthing not too sweet and not too sour. Anyone have any suggestions?

Yellow Tail is really good cheap wine.

I buy it all the time at HEB.

judging by the name you wouldn't think so but Fat Bastard Chardoney is a pretty good wine.
