its been raining over here all morning. kind of a repeat of yesterday, just not as hard. at least my yard is sand so it won't flood.

It's been half an hour since I posted this and it's still raining very hard.

The 7-on-7 games at Flour Bluff tonight have already been cancelled due to the weather.

I'm not sure how to post a radar, but I just looked at one that shows moderate to heavy rain in the Beaumont/Port Arthur area.

The rain here has slacked off slightly, still falling at a good pace though.

here's some pics from the Caller-Times of yesterday's rain

The bad thing is that all of this rain so far today has been in the morning...we're supposed to get "the real action" this afternoon according to Bill Vessey on channel 3 this morning.

And our area can take NO MORE rain.

Looks like Mother Nature is making up for all the rain the Coastal Bend didn't get over the past year...and squeezing it all in a week's time.

They've downgraded the warnings to watches...and extended the watch area. Suffice to say they are expecting further rain today.
