Question for the Pirate Nation....(Sinton)

hey guys....in district play...when is the last time Sinton had 30 points scored on them by an op? I cant remember anyone score over say...14 on them in SEVERAL years....last year's Sinton/Ingleside game must have been a scare. I got to thinking about it yesterday, and I dont remember any close district games for Sinton in years. Can someone give me some accurate stats??

I went back the the 01-02 season and couldn't find anyone who did. I know the last district loss Sinton had was to Mathis in 00-01 season I believe, but I dont think they put up 30 points.

I got to listen to the webcast of last year's game Sinton/Ingleside (I lived in AZ at the time) and MAN was I on the edge of my seat the whole time. For the life of me I couldnt remember anyone putting up over 14 points on Sinton in district.

Aransas Pass in 2002 I believe in Tommy Blakes senior year. Don't remember the exact score but a lot of points were put up by both teams.

Sinton beat AP pretty bad from 01 up.

01-02 Sinton 49 AP 0
02-03 Sinton 41 AP 14
03-04 Sinton 44 AP 7
04-05 Sinton 54 AP 9
05-06 Sinton 33 AP 14


I remember Blake but I can't remember is senior year. Anyways, These are the scores from the past 5 years vs Aransas Pass.

Blake reeled off almost 300 yards, but AP couldn't finish their drives that year.

Barrett, the last time was Hondo in last year's playoffs--- they scored 34 in that upset of theirs. Before that, though, we have to go back to Mathis in the Area round of the '99 playoffs. That was the year Mathis went to the D1 championship. That win gave Mathis payback for an 18-2 loss during the first week of the season. Since then, the closest (to my knowledge) have been Everman at the title game in '01 (25 points) and LaFeria in the '02 playoffs (27 points).

The last time it happened during the regular season was also 1999, during week 8 in a 35-30 loss to West Oso.

Yeah, Josh Coffield (the starter for a few games last year) is moving over from RB to take the reigns.

Looks like last year's backup will get the nod. Kid's name is Wes Ring. RB Josh Ring is his older brother.

What District meant was that the question was for DISTRICT GAMES not playoff or predistrict regular season games.
