Where to start? Cotulla's home/season opener loss was disappointing. Early on in the game the Cowboys couldn't get they're offense going, meanwhile the Cowboys defense held tight through most of the game. Blanco meanwhile brought a good game, and while I may be baised, Blanco's defense wasn't exactly what killed the Boys this time around. Bad snaps and turnovers cost, while offensively they still have kinks to work out. However I tell any Cowboy fans not to look on this one game and judge the team. I will remind you that Cotulla lost this game last year, and that Blanco were 2A state champs 2yrs ago. It's a good thing it's preseason so there's time to work out the flaws. Cowboys show promise, and the defense looks good. We'll see how the next one goes...
