This North Texan just got back from a mini-tour of San Antonio and some of the Hill Country. Went to Sea World (grandkids), stayed at the Hyatt Regency on the River Walk---did every inch of that.....good food and good time....many people there---much walking---hard on the "old" folks . Took in Mi Tierra on Sat---everybody else in Texas there, also. Returned home up 281, over to Friedricksburg, up 16 thru Llano to Evant and then home.

Texas is still the best place to live, work, and play---and the Texas people are "the best".

Sounds like you had a great time Bull! Hope you didn't get rained on too much, but if it was cloudy that HAD to be a good thing at Sea World. Boy, does that place get HOT during the summer! Glad you had a fun, safe trip!:)

Dick's Last Resort! Great fun! I was just there a couple months ago. Carla (from Cheers) has nothing on the way those folks will treat ya. They made us all dunce hats with funny sayings written on them. My wifes said "Frusterated former porn star". :D
I cant remember what mine said, but it was funny.
They threw our bread at us, from across the bar.

My favorite Mexican Food place in San Antonio has always been the Casa Rio. Right on the river, great atmosphere, good food, reasonable prices.
