haha yea but we don't play in mud too often....hopefully we will get some new ones soon though..right now we're spending money to get all slicked up for state for 7 on 7

Well, Decatur got new ones again this year. Dont know what they look like but the helmets are blue and fade to black. Pretty sweet effect.

When I played decatur in the late 90's I don't remeber any black in the uniform.

Gotta love those old school shoulder stripes at Cuero. I hope you guys don't ever change those. Sweeny wore that style back in the 60's when they won their state title. It just says "TOUGH!"

Here is the Buckeyes' most famous uniform. I think Kinne was wearing the white jersey on the cover of DCTF.

BTW, that is Jamell Kennedy, last year's QB who is being moved to wide receiver.

i like the helmets...i wish we changed our logo already...we have name tags for the lockers changed to the mascot like the mizzo tiger mascot...except the colors are red,white, and blue of course

I was at that game. I felt sorry for Snyder that night. They didn't belong on the same field with us. Then one of their players after the game was quoted in the Abilene paper the next day saying something like, "Clearly we were the better team. We should have won this game."

I'll tell you, though. When we first saw them come out of the tunnel at Texas Stadium with that Superman 'S' logo on the side of their helmets, it was all we could do to keep from giving up and driving the 140 miles back home to Gilmer.
