i read that a tropical depression or something is moving through... im not sure, but its been nonstop thunder and lightning since around 3am

my son came into bed with us this morning around 4:40. it was thundering then, but never rained. supposed to be rainy all weekend. i hope not since we were gonna go to the beach tomorrow afternoon
