This was ranked according to PrepVolleyball.com. This is great news as the Lady Horns welcome three outstanding newcomers to the team. They are 6-3 setter and right side hitter Ashley Engle from California who was ranked 3rd recruit overall by PrepVolleyball.com Also Destinee Hocker a 6-3 outside hitter from San Antonio ranked No. 8 (she also starred on our track teams with her sister Marshevet). The third is 5-9 defensive specialists Heather Kisnwe from Sugarland is ranked 54th. Penn State which signed 4 top players was ranked No. 1.
This is good news for Texas because besides this great class they are returning most of last year's players (including the 6 starters!) from a team that did well in the playoffs the past two years having only been eliminated in the playoffs by either the National Champions or the Runner ups. Great news indeed!
