As an FYI, this will apply to ALL events at Texas Stadium, not just Cowboys games. I wonder if this will impact the # of HS games that go there.

IRVING - A state district judge ruled Monday that the city of Irving can charge user fees on parking and tickets at Texas Stadium, home of the Dallas Cowboys.
The city, backed by the Greater Irving-Las Colinas Chamber of Commerce, asked civil Judge Jay Patterson to rule on the legality of three stadium-user fees that Irving voters approved in May.
The vote allowed the city to tax professional football players up to $5,000 per game played at Texas Stadium, add up to $3 in parking fees and increase ticket prices by up to 10 percent. But city officials have pledged not to impose the locker-room tax.
The fees are expected to raise $15 million for Texas Stadium demolition and redevelopment over three years.
