And the Texans wouldn't listen to their fans.

The word on the street predicts Young will start for the Titans by mid-season.

Portland has been criticized so much for selected Sam Bowie over Michael Jordan. That year Houston picked first and chose Hakeem Olahuwon who played great for them and lead them to 2 NBA titles. Portland chose Bowie next and then Chicago chose Jordan. The only thing is back then no one new that Jordan was going to be the great player he was and both him and Bowie were considered great prospects. Of course no one had a crystal ball at the time and didn't know this.
The Texans were different. It will be worse for them because all their fans begged them to take Vince but they completely ignored what their fans wanted and this could be the biggest goof ever in the draft.

Sam Bowies college career was plagued with nothing but injuries. He spent alot of his time healing up from bad leg injuries. Michael Jordan was a freshman phenom and led UNC to the NCAA championship... it should have been a no brainer

Probably so but their fans didn't make the uproar like Texan fans did over Vince. At least not until many years later.
