I have to agree... the first one is better... the kid in the second one is not scary at all...

My daughter wasnt impressed at all. She said the kid wasnt a very good actor, and he wasnt scary at all. She said the original is much, much better. And she's a horror film buff.

I will be the lone dissenter....I have the first one on DVD, went and saw the new one...SAME story...almost down to exact wording. I love Mia Farrow as the "new" nanny..I also like the parents better..Just never liked Peck as the father.

It is not scary...first one was not either...Both have a creepiness about them, and that is about it. Both have the same plot holes.

So IMO if you like one, you will prob like both.

Thanks 44. Well it had the same ending I see. Well it is ok. Just like the time with the first movie it wouldn't have made any difference since the County is still run like Hell anyway.
