How many of you watched the TV show when you were younger?

I lived for Transformers and GI Joe when I was five, so I was stoked to hear about them making a Transformers Movie due out next summer. I heard about it on one of the late shows last night and am already getting anxious to check out the trailers.

Anyone else in here (besides Blastoderm) shed a tear when Optimus Prime keeled over and Hot Rod took his place?

Its not gonna be a bad movie. Steven Spielberg is producing it, the guy who directed The Island is the director, John Voight and Bernie Mac are reportedly starring. I dont think these people would sign on if they didnt believe this would be a hit.


and by the way, the whole word on the street thing is probably the gayest quip anyone has ever had on here.

I used to live off of Transformers, He-Man, and Thundercats back in the day. I am definitely going to go see this one.

I used to watch the cartoon and do plan to watch the movie eventually...i still have the old school tape version of the Transformer the Movie.

I am worried about the story of the movie..rumor is the story centers more around the humans and how they are caught in the middle of a robot war.

Idont want that, I want the story to center on the transformers, who cares about the humans

Supposed to be a real production. When I saw the interview, Tyrese Gibson was talking about carrying around these huge machine guns and stuff.
