by Grisham. I bought it one time on a trip and left it in a rental car and never got to finish it. Started it again last night. I can see so many Texas towns in that story.

who has also read Painted House? IMO Grishams best work yet. But hey I am not that qualified to judge books...

I've read the Painted House also. My favorite right now is the Rainmaker. That's one movie that will bring a tear to your eye(referring to the other thread)

I have read and own every Grisham book to date, and have to agree that A Painted House is his best work yet.

I wish i was at home reading it right now instead of stuck up here at work.

Read both, and it would be hard to rank them, because they are so different. Definately his best, after The Firm.

Ya it wasn't your typical Grisham book, but I was really good.

I listened to it on CD. That is one good thing to do when you drive back and forth to work

I sent my wife to The Cracker Barrel to get it for our trip to Little Rock this weekend....she came home with it, but on tapes. Then I went to the Abilene public library and someone had the C.D.'s checked out...I hope their copy isnt the one Injured left in his rental car.

Read it. Loved it. Bought it for my dad for this year's Father's Day.
