someone knew the answer to that question? How prestigous of a tourney is this? I would like to be in CO right now where it cant be as hot and humid as it is here in abilene today.

its a "college look" tournament - I've worked (ump'd) many and i dont they're prestigous at all really ..... W/Ls not really that important

The sparkler hasn't been around too long, not like the other two that are held there. There's the Firecracker which is in Aurora and the Independence in Boulder. It is mainly focused on college exposure. Over 200 colleges are in attendance along with many competitive teams from around the US.

By the way...temp is in the 80's with tonight's low's in the upper 50's....
