he'd leave...just so he could show everybody that not only can he bring 'em in to Gilmer...but he can find a way to get all of them to follow him to Richardson! ;)

I think personaly there is no way he would leave Gilmer, and the Job in Tatum is ANDY EVANS as long as he would like to coach.

Bigger school usually means bigger money. No AD responsibilities, and more money sure helps the teacher retirement.

The Lk Hg job is a done deal

the guy is gonna make a killing after this next season. He needs to get a college job. He ranks right up there with Art Briles in recruiting prowess. I bet Art will make room on his staff.

So you KNOW he recruits? So please share this insider information.

i found this on smoaky and it was quite humerous. i hope everybody gets a laugh. God knows we all need one...........

I check all stories when I can...and I try whenever possible to contact the persons involved, so I did on this one too.

I just spoke with Gilmer athletic director and head football coach Jeff Traylor.

He told me he's not heard from Lake Highlands, hasn't contacted Lake Highlands, and he didn't even know the job was open...and Traylor told me..."I'm upset about this particular rumor and accusation because it's killing my ability to recruit."

Okay everyone, slowly read this---although I know it's a touchy topic right now, "the quote I just posted was a joke".

Relax, close your eyes, and slowly breath in and then out.

Traylor said he first learned the job was open when two current players and some Gilmer residents started calling him today once the story was posted on Smoaky.com.

Meanwhile, I enjoy a day off by checking on another story involving Gilmer.

Thank you, but working the phones won't take away from my solid round of 75 today at Woodbridge Golf Club in Wylie.

Congrats on the 75 aussie, even though there are those on here (mustang04) who don't think it's a sport.
