Bellville scores in 3rd OT and then intercepts Marlin pass in Bellville endzone to win the game. WOW! What a game!!!!!!

WOW!!! I didn't think bellvile had a chance. They proved me wrong. Does anyone have a game summary? Wow first jasper, then marlin, it don't get no better for newton people.

Bellville people will be on here in 30-45 minutes or so. I've been telling everybody all season to watch out for Bellville. This is a very good team!

Wow! I think I witnessed one of the all time great high school football games. Tied 17-17 at end of regulation, both teams turn the ball over on their first series. Marlin then gets the ball in 2nd OT and the QB runs around end for a 25 yd. score. Bellville then MUST score. On third and about 8 Buenger hits Ford end the end zone for the TD.

Starting 3rd OT, on I think the 2nd place Buenger hits Goeke all the way across the field in the back of the end zone for the TD. Bellville then held Marlin. Marlin had it 4th and about 30. The QB scrambled and threw it in the end zone. Both receiver and the DB had a fair shot at it and Bellville comes down with it.

What a game, I'm pumped.
Marlin's QB gave us fits all night, but we contained the big play, bend but don't break. The difference for Bellville was passing, Buenger had a great night and his receivers only dropped on ball.

It don't get any better than this.

Another factor in this game was the lack of a pass rush from Marlin. Buenger had all day to throw the ball. Marlin D was extremely tough against the run though.
