View Full Version : Some understandings

Most of us realize this but we need to be sure to watch ourselves when we post or reply to others. I feel it should be understood that we honor each other's private lives. There are those who post that don't want their real identity revealed or their profession or anything that could possible give away who they are. These wishes should be honored so unless we have permission from the person let's not reveal who they are or their profession or anything that would reveal who they are. Also an exception is if they post who they are. Now it is ok when we meet during a game's halftime or whenever to reveal it if the person wishes but we must take great care in our posting. I really enjoy those meeting and even then I only know several of them by their 3A identity which is fine with me. Also what stays here should stay here except when we are meeting with friendly discussions. No one's family or friends should suffer because of what is said on this board. I realize that most of you know this but sometimes things need to be pointed out. For myself my real identity is the worse kept secret in Sinton. In fact you can even ask nearly any high school Sinton athletic and they will probably know who I am and if they need a hint tell them the Sinton GodFather :) . But that is ok with me but it isn't ok with others and we should honor and respect their wishes.

I applaud you Phil C. You said exactly what I have been thinking for a while now. Surely, there are many others who have been thinking the same thing as well.

I agree, and if you live in a small town where everyone knows you and dont want your ID uncovered, dont list your profession in your profile or give it out on a thread. Its too easy to figure out who you are. Huh, Paintball? eek! eek! wink
