He has never missed the cut in a major since turning pro. The cut is the top 60 players and anybody within 10 shots of the lead. Right now, that means that the cut should be either +10 or +11...MAYBE a +9. Tiger is at +10 with 4 holes to go and just drove the ball about 30 yards right of the #6 fairway on a 325 yard par 4. It's not looking good for Mr Woods...

I think the last time he missed a cut was at last years byron nelson. I was there to.

As much as I hate to say it, I don't think he makes the cut. I think with his father's death and the time he took off are relly affecting his game tremendously.

Yeah that was the first cut he had missed since his 2nd or 3rd tourney ever. He has never missed the cut in a major.

Steve Stricker is already in the clubhouse at -1, and Tiger last I saw was +10. Plus, Mickelson is even par and he hasn't teed off yet. It's not looking good for Tiger.

Tiger now at +11 with one hole to play. Sorry Phil C, doesn't like the Tiger will roar this weekend.

I am not a Tiger fan and though I feel bad for his loss, I am happy to see him miss the cut. Come on Ernie and Retief.

BTW - just in case you think there is some underlying racial issue, I was never a Jack Nicklaus fan in his younger years either.

Tiger finishes +12.

Though not likely, Tiger does still have "a chance" to make the cut. The top 60 and ties make the cut and yesterday +5 had 67 players at it. If today the scores go higher...there is a chance that the line moves to +12...but more than likely it will be +10 or +11 at worst.

right now the projected cut is at +10. The top 60 is at through +7. Right now there are 69 players that have not completed their rounds that are at +10 or better...As it stands, about 45 of those guys would have to shoot no better than 76 or 77 for Tiger to make the cut. Tiger better start praying for some strong wind AND rain...

Heck I beat he is already on his plane heading back to Florida.
