Ever seen a program go to certain lengths to get their guys to hang on to the ball?
My JR. year we were planning on pounding the ball with a very good D-tackle (looked like an NFL FB)... It was his senior year and he'd been playing D all of HS so coach made him carry a football around with him all day...
I think that's a pretty sweet idea...
If I were heading a team, I'd like my ball-carriers/receivers and QB's to carry a ball with them all day... I'd even suggest letting them try to suit-up while tucking the ball...
With the permission of the principal etc..., I'd like to have them carry it around school if they promised not to throw it around etc... And I'd also like to tell a couple of players if they saw one of the players carrying the ball around school to try and knock it out of their hands, catch 'em off-guard but not get too out of hand with it...
Anyway, might sound over the edge a bit, but I think it'd work........ maybe...
