I Recently bought the new NCAA 2004 Video game and went to play with Texas tech and he wasnt on there.. it kinda made me mad
but does anyone else on here own the game and play online?

no, i dont have it yet, but i heard its awesome.

last year i couldnt find dabryan or pete cuva (just a walk on kicker) on it. i was surprised about dabryan not being on there, but not really about pete since he was a walk on.

i did play in a franchise with then, freshman, reggie mcneal, i redshirted him, got his stats up a bit thru that. i won the heisman with him his 2nd year (still a freshman) then proceeded to again the next year, but he went to the draft after that and i never heard back from him...lol.

I heard on 2004 that you can try to pursuay the people leaving early to stay or something like that.

why would you guys expect freshman to be on the game? if you have 2003 already it obviously came out before freshman even register for school ......

Cuz there normally are freshmen on the games.. esp. if they were a pretty good prospect..
Robert Franklin from gainesville, will be a redshirted Freshman this year for washinton state and hes not even on the game ..

I'd venture a guess here that the software for those games takes a long time to write. There probably is some lag time between the current issue and the newest players appearing.

I wouldn't be so sure. NCAA 2002 and 2003 both had the newer incoming freshmen in the games. Examples.....2002 had Cedric Benson, 2003 had Vincent Young AND Reggie McNeal. I think the game includes the players that will play as "true" freshmen, and leaves out those that are redshirted.

Did you download the real rosters or just keep the ones that are already in the game? What do they have his speed as?

he was already on here.. his speed was only 92..
if that is the right guy.. cuz according to espn.com he is a wide receiver #4, plus WR#4 was a redshirted freshman just like He would be in real life, so thats who i looked at on the game

his speed should be 110. even tho it can only go to 99

yea it sucks all my friends here in Gainesville play games online but they all have X-Box so i cant play them with my ps2

Jimbo- You need to get a sharkport. You plug it from your Ps2 to your computer and you can download the real rosters with real names and not #'s.
When i buy the game and an adapter I willplay you online. I will even let you be someone good and I will be Texas a&m to give you and an advantage. :D

I have the network adapter but not the sharkport..

they arnt the same..

the network adapter should just plug into your dsl, cable or phone line

I got the game today and I will get an online adapter later and maybe a headset later this week. :D :D
