I know Evangel was a national powerhouse a couple of years back and they are playing Lufkin and SLC. Every time I read about them though I see people saying how much they have fallen off and how Lufkin and SLC will destroy them. IF they have fallen off that much do yall think some of our 3A Texas powers could put up a good game against them? I think that would be a hell of a game to see if Cuero, Gilmer, WOS, etc. were to play them. What do yall think?
