for 7 1/3 innings before Preston Wilson broke up the no hitter in the 8th. Zambrano homered and drove in 4 runs in the Cubs 8-0 win.

its embalming.....enbombing is prolly some terrorist thing.....the Astros have been dead and buried the last 2 years and came back to make the playoffs....im not so sure they will do it this year but who knows, the rangers have a tendency to bomb so maybe Clemens should have just stayed at home but im glad he is in a Houston uniform....

July 11. If the Astros can get to that date anywhere within 30 games of first they'll be alright.

'04... 48-26 after the break
'05... Record stood at 15-30 on May 25. Pulled of a 42-17 mark from then through the end of July, 49-30 after the All-Star Break.

Man, everyone's so quick to give up on everything these days. A-Rod, a typically slow starter, gets blamed for being 'overhyped' in April and May. So does Manny Ramirez. The past three years, the 'Stros get written off only to get into the playoffs.

They'll be fine.

I've learned to not worry too much about them until August. If they're still within 10 games of the playoffs at that time, then they're right on schedule.:D
