i dont put personal stuff on. ive use it to find old high school and college buddies. but spf25 has talked me into joining the 3adl group thingie.

Sorry gang, I'd like to join but I have a complex about the whole MySpace thing. I really enjoy my anonimity on the internet and I don't necessariily want to be found by old class mates etc. I feel it will make me too accessable.

For those that are agianst myspace because they dont want people to know about their personal life need to understand one thing. When you join MySpace, YOU decide how much personal stuff you want to give out. It is not like they force you to put a pic up, or to give your personal info.

The people that get burned on MySpace have to share the blame because they are the ones who put their info out for everyone to see

the arguments you will get, and i am one of them, is that the majority of the people putting info on there are young children who dont know any better. sure, adults can make their decision, but children dont think these things out of why having their info and photos online could be harmful. i still dont show photos of myself or family and would be XTREMEMLY upset if i found other myspace pages with photos of my family

Profiles can also be set to private so that only the people you invite can read anything you have on there.

My oldest son has been dating a girl for the past 4 months that he initially met on his myspace.

My daughter went to a motorcross race with a friend of hers a couple of weeks ago and met a guy. They started talking and realized that they were on each other's myspace!

You have to use common sense for sure....4 out of 5 of my kids have a myspace site. The kicker is, the one child that DOESN'T have a myspace is my "problem child"!!
