Oh yeah, like it's all his fault. They don't exactly have the biggest stream of revenue coming in. Kind of tough for them to sign free agents without $$$. I'm not saying small-market teams can't compete (Oakland & Minnesota have had success recently) but each year, as salaries continue to spiral out of control, it gets tougher and tougher.
Milwaukee is a small-market franchise that is doing well right now because of some excellent players that have come up thru their system (Rickie Weeks, Prince Fielder) but in a few years they'll all be in New York, Boston or LA.
