Sweet Corn

We just ate some awesome "Sweet Corn" along with steaks from the grill... I just thought my steaks where good....

OMG !!! The corn was AWESOME!!! OK, I live in West Texas and the corn crop...(if any).. is a ways off. I miss Port Lavaca where we ate sweet corn for a couple weeks around this time of May, even in a drought Mom says they had a good "Sweet Corn" crop.

Any way, the corn from HEB was from Texas and was the size of very good field corn, but was sooooooooo goooooood!

I hope everyone one else had an awesome Holiday (and some good corn!)....

Did you get some of that peaches and cream variant? It has light colored kernels mixed with yellow kernels. I think farmers call it G90. It's the best out there. I've only had it twice this season so far(once I had to buy it at HEB and second a customer gave us some).:)
