I Meant to say if there was a 3A Cup for Total Athletic Success, who would be at the Top....

Definitely Abilene Wylie - 3 rounds in football, lost in the region one championship in basketball, and will play for the region one championship in baseball.

There is the Lone Star Cup. Given to schools that has had the most success, including band and all.
LST (http://www.uil.utexas.edu/media/lonestar_info.html)
.
The season's result won't be public until late June or so I think.

Silsbee would have to be mentioned. The Tigers were 61-4 in, all sports, in district play. No state championships, but this is a very impressive record for that athletic program. District champs in boys and girls basketball, volleyball, baseball, boys and girls track, and tennis.

no offense intended but you can rake in all the district championships ya want, its the regional and state ones that make a program get noticed...

agreed. If you are in a district with a bunch of very weak teams...yet lose in the 1st or 2nd round of the playoffs then it's not saying too much about you and your team.

If you make the same claim in District 21 next year Bearkat, maybe it'll mean more to them:

Bridge City
Hamshire-Fannett
Jasper
Kirbyville
Orangefield
Silsbee
Hardin-Jefferson
West Orange-Stark

61-4 across all sports is pretty solid in my book.

Lone Star Cup includes too many things that don't matter...

There should be something for just the Four Major Sports..

Football
Basketball
Track
Baseball

in my humble opinion...

Just leave out the band and other stuff and compile it according to school's team accomplishments. Maybe let folks post what their school did and go from there, or use the UIL for a database.

when looking at the lone star cup standings, dont count out decatur. not only did they do very well in baseball and softball and boys and girls basketball, but they also won state in one-act play, which is 10 points alone added to their 36 points in third place.

One school that seems to always get overlooked is Liberty-Eylau in Texarkana. Semi's in FB, Dist Champ in Boys BB, Regional finals in G BB, Regional FInal in SFB , REgionals in both B & G Track, State Champion in G Pwr lifting, Baseball in Regional Finals. Pretty good credentials if I should say so.

While Cuero was not "the best", They sure have alot to be proud of: Regional Champs in 3 sports (Football, Track and Golf) and State Champs in Track. Also, making the playoffs in boys basketball and the girls making the playoffs for the 1st time EVER in softball. Certainly room for improvement, but also, quite alot to be proud of. Also, I don't have all the figures, but from all the names called out at the All Sports Banquet, quite a few of the boys and girls were Academic All-District and several Academic All-State and that is wonderful.

Hutto had a great year on the guys side. Girls kinda had a bad year. I dont think the volleyball team made the playoffs ??? Other than that
Football, state runner-up
basketball, first round
baseball, 3rd round
state ranked in football and baseball

Mac77 forgot to include the band...Sweepstakes with straight ones in all catagories (marching, concert, sightreading) with three kids making All-State band (two for the second year!)
