We could use the pitching...:) what do you mean "embarrasment?" if two teams battle it out for that long, i think they should both get a win. thats pretty much two games crunched into one. do you realize the amount of endurance that would require?

I realize that the Astros have now lost 5 straight vs. the Nats and the Pirates, two of the worst teams in the NL. That's where the embarrassment comes from...:o

I watched until the bitter end, which was around midnight, or 1 AM Pittsburgh time.:eek:

u would have been more pissed if you watched the whole thing, saw the astros blow a lead twice and then watched the catcher drop the ball in the 18th when the winning run was scored....

And today(Sunday) the Astros score 4 runs in the 9th to tie the game, then win it in the 10th. Astros 5-4

Yeah that was unreal. Maybe that will light a fire under them going into the series in St. Louis. BTW the catcher that dropped the ball Saturday night (Eric Munson) had caught all 18 innings so I'm willing to give him a pass on that play...:)
