A good game and win by the Pirates. Halletsville played very well and had good hitting. Fortunately the Pirates came through and were able to overcome an outstanding game by the Brahmas.

He was way out of position. I was playing 3rd. The runner number 6 was about to get up and go to the dugout. Oh well not all the breaks go your way. That was a great 1st game. Hopefully we will make make it go down to game 3 and have another great game.

No the ball wasn't dropped. That is for sure. The only thing I can say is that the umpire was a little out of position because the Sinton guy made a wonderful slide he just slid right past the bag and his hand was not on it. After I tagged his hand the kid pushed his hand onto the bag and the umpire didn't see it. The first time I tagged him I don't know what the deal was. Oh well It is to late to look at that play anymore. On to game 2 of this series.
