It's always the refs, isnt it? The Mavs never really lose a game. They just get robbed, apparently.

Give credit to Phoenix and get 'em next time...

Bulldog_12

I dont like either teams. But I dont like people getting up in arms over officiating, ESPECIALLY when the stats are against them, more. Both fans are guilty of that.

Oh, and I cant stand Cuban.

Ill give you part of that. The rules in the NBA are a joke. It is completely centered around offense and the super stars OBVIOUSLY get calls.

Temporarilly? I guess if you mean within the next 2 or 3 years they win one, cuz after that, if the Spurs don't get younger in a hurry, they're gonna end up in the pooper.

I'm not saying it to be rude of the bear of bad news, but just look at the age of the guys on the team. Well, the guys that actually play and are good. I'll say that yes, they all have 2 or 3, perhaps even 4 good years left in them, but after that, just like The Godfather said: "Doooooooommmmmed!"

Negative Ghostrider, he was still talking about the Spurs in a half decade. He wouldn't give up on the Mavs after 1. It'd take at least 2 like tonight, right Phil?

But that is pretty good to get appointed county auditor at that young age. I was told at the conference that she started working there since she was 16 when she got a part time job there.

And in 5 years when Tim Duncan is 35 years old...let's see how many more banners they are hanging. The offense works around Duncan...especially come playoff time. Ginobili and Parker are young enough and good enough to win enough regular season games and keep the Spurs among the Top 5 teams in the league. Just looking long term, this will hurt them in their ability to get a good draft pick and pick up a top notch big man to replace Duncan once he is finished playing. Heck Duncan was very minimal in his regular season impact and they still won the Western Conference. They can continue to do that in the future w/o him...but they will not be as good of a playoff team without him. The wins can keep piling up...but they won't have the opportunity to find a top-notch replacement for him when they are drafting in the 26-30 range in the draft.
