One thing about the Decatur - Snyder series

Is that with a game on Wednesday, it will give both starters in that game a full two days rest before Saturday's action.
Pitching will be at a premium in this series.

I think it will go to 3 games. Lance Day has won his 3 playoff games by giving up 2, 2 and 1 run. I think this will be a very good matchup between 2 very good baseball teams and I am picking the Tigers in 3.

I worry about the Snyder pitcvhing holding up. I know in the game to decide who got the bye Wylie shelled all the Tiger pitchers. I would love to see a Wylie/Snyder Regional Championship game and I will be pulling for both this weekend.

Actually Day threw a two-hit shutout against Greenwood. I think his three playoff games are 0, 2, and 1.

Are graduation ceromonies gonna figure into this series. Decatur's is Thursday night but from what I've heard Snyder's is Friday night? Any thoughts.............

Lance was only pitcher that was effective in that game. He pitched 2 2/3 shutout innings before taking himself out with a shoulder injury.

Decatur wins. In maybe 2 but more likely 3. I've heard that their #2 guy isn't too bad though, so we'll have to see how things play out.

I want to say that Synder is a great ball club. I can see why they are as tough as everyone is saying. In the two games against Decatur, I saw some awesome infield plays and some good pitching.
