went to watch the C.C. Hooks last night

i took my son to the best minor league baseball venue in the country (at least i cant imagine there being a better place). i get the best feeling going to see a game or just hanging out at the ball field. the picture of the tanks is out behind the left field fence along the ship channel.

Awesome field, my friend. I have a co-worker who just moved in from California. He said that Whatauburger Field puts Dodger field to shame.

I haven't been to see the Hooks yet this year but I was able to catch the G-P/Robstown playoff game there last Thursday.:cool:

im not sure if they do it during high school games, but make sure your not playing on the slides when a homerun is hit. that loud horn that blows, scares everyone there :D

I'll be there June 4(the kids get free bp replica jerseys) and June 8 just because I feel like going. I have some berm tickets for June 10(Jeff Bagwell figurines for the first 2500 fans), but I have to work. I'm probably giving those away.

didnt do much sitting. i was at the playground area with my son most the time i was there. we had a few breaks where we sat on the left field berm. we left in the 5th inning before the comeback and i listened to the spurs game on the way home.
when i use my company's seats, we have 6 in section 118. i was offered that night, but i turned em down to use my brothers tix he won on the radio. so i should be getting the company seats the next home series
