Just wanted to shout out a good luck to the Cardinals this week. Columbus has been really taking it in the chops in football and basketball so its refreshing to see them do well. The baseball team has to overcome a lot of adversity to do well and they are getting the job done. Columbus has no offseason baseball program. In addition, the football team uses the fine baseball field as a practice area in the fall and does not let baseballers even throw or take BP during this time. On top of that, Ive been told that there is little to no administrative support. Friend of mine told me the boys have to even pay for their own charter busses for long trips cause the school wont pay for meals, much less a charter bus.
