UT Men's Tennis beat Ohio State to get to semis!

The biggest hero of the match won by UT 4 to 3 is the third one from the right. He is freshman Miguel Reyes Varera from Cuernavaca, Mexico. His match was the one that got UT to four wins and he had to do it coming from being behind 2 - 5 in his match. Way to go Miguel! Way to go Horns!

Unfortunately the UT men lost the semis to Pepperdine by a 4 to 1 score. Hoped Baylor advanced. Sahen?

lost in the final 4 to 1 seed and undefeated Georgia 4-3 unfortunately.....was extremely close and couldve went either way...sadly it went to UGA.....last night Baylor defeated Stanford 4-3 to get to the final 4 but that match lasted til about 2 am (central so 12 am on the west coast where the match is being played) due to rain and the need to play all singles matches, it couldve had some effect to the stamina of the baylor players today, however they did better than most at baylor thought we would do this year...we lost what was arguably the best 1-2 punch men's tennis had seen in a long time last year only to end up back in the final 4 and almost the championship again....sic'em! good job to the horns and bears, way to represent big 12 tennis!

on a side note, all of baylor's team was all juniors or younger, so next year hopefully they can make another run at a championship...
