just a congrats to the wylie softball team ... regional finals for the first ever time. been a great run this year behind some great pitching from marlene wyatt.

two of the most derserving coaches too ... extremely nice and great coaches.

The magical playoff journey of the Wylie High School softball team continues.

Parlaying the pitching efforts of Marlene Wyatt and untimely errors on the part of Graham, the Lady Bulldogs scored a 1-0 Class 3A regional semifinal victory and now advance to the regional semifinals next week against the winner of the Clyde-Bowie series. It is the deepest the school has ever advanced in the playoffs.

Winning pitcher Wyatt had a no-hitter through six innings before giving up a bunt in the seventh.
