Knowing Isiah Thomas, the 2008,2009,2010,2011 first round picks; stephon marbury, larry brown, and madison square garden.

He'd make a great fit for L.A. over NJ I think...

As for being a Mav that would be great for them as well, Diaper and that other big dude for Dallas get the job done together, KG can get it done solo...

MJ also said his second coming would be Alonzo Mourning when he retired the first time. Yet another reason to remember Jordan as a great player, and not GM.

At least he had the sense to get out before he REALLY screwed up *coughIsiahcough*

Actually, I heard somewhere that Iverson may go to Atlanta. Usually, this is where basketball goes to die, but the Hawks are slowly building, with Joe Johnson (top 20 in pts, rebounds) and a couple of good draft picks (jefferson is one). With Iverson running things, maybe they could contend. They'd at least be hungrier for it that the 76ers were.

Magic couldnt carry Jordans jock and wasnt even worthy to smell his jock. Magic as a special player but wasnt as the greatest ever as Jordan was.

Magic was one of the greats!! I don't know that he would want to carry MJ's jock or smell it, but if he wanted to that would explain alot of things!!

There is one of those posts, bull!! :o :o ;) I'll let it sit there since I'm trying to boost my count! :D

Shaq is no Shaq anymore. As far as talent wise and impact on the game shaq isnt a pimple on the backside of Jordan.

you can't compare a guard to a center...doesn't work too well! let's see Shaq go hit a bunch of 15-20 ft jumpers!

I just have one question: who are the Lakers planning to send to Minny in exchange for him? Lamar Odom? Smush Parker? Kwame Brown? A first next year?

I can't see any way that trade works unless Kevin McHale is a complete idiot. The only player LA has that can affect a game like KG is untouchable, and if they trade Garnett they know they're not getting a strong first-rounder in return. I've already said that the Lakers (the team that I hate the most) will be one of the top three or four teams in the West next year. And that's without Garnett.

Realistically, there are only a handful of players that are worth Garnett:

1. Duncan
2. Nowitzki
3. LeBron
4. Kobe
5. Chris Bosh
6. Yao
7. Amare Stoudemire
8. Dwight Howard
8. Tracy McGrady (Maybe)
9. Elton Brand (Maybe)
10. Jermaine O'Neal (Longshot)
11. Pau Gasol (Longshot)
12. Dwayne Wade (Longshot)
13. Vince Carter (Longshot)

That's your list. Either that or a guaranteed lottery pick in the '07 draft (should be the strongest since the LeBron lottery).

Good list. But I think Garnett isn't as dominant as he was earlier on. He's aging and not as quick. Whoever gets him might be a little disappointed imo.

He definitely had a down year, but he's still in his prime (he's only 29... at least until tomorrow) and he definitely has at least three more dominant years ahead of him.

Shoot. He came into the league when he was what 18? He's been here for so long I thought he must be 35 at least. At least that's how he looked last year.;)
