Glad to see Manu taking 3 steps on his behind the back layup. That's a good, legal move right there!

Maybe he'll bust out "The Manu Flop" again for us pretty soon!

1. Tim Duncan whines like a little girl when he doesn't get what he wants...

2. Ginobli is just a punk. He plays a lot dirtier than people realize and gets away with way too much crap IMO.

3. Tony Parker's g/f is hotter than mine! ;)

You must not be watching too often. Go take notice that 4 out of 5 times when Duncan commits a foul...he goes over to the ref...stands over him and has to ask questions.

Seems to me that EVERYONE does that, not just Duncan and I'm not even a basketball fan. I tune in to watch during the finals. So, I watched some of the game last night and I saw players from both teams plead their cases to the refs. So you can single one guy out if it makes you feel better, but the bottom line is they are all a bunch of big :weeping: the whole stinking NBA!!!

Sad but true it happens in every sport. The players will never agree with the refs/officials. They will always miss something or the players will always think they were wronged in some way. Just play the game!

as great as the 3-1 and now 3-2 lead sounds...every game I still feel like it's anybody's game to win. Both teams are shooting the ball extremely well and San Antonio has kept themselves in this series by making a high % of FT's.

They shot 70% on FT's in the regular season but are over 76% in the postseason...and at 74.3% against the Mavs. I know it's not a huge % difference...but a few more points every game has made a big difference in the two games that they have won.

The Spurs are going to drive the lane with Duncan, Genobili, and Parker and score or draw a foul----simple as that. The Mavs have got to find a way to stop the drives. Genobili was a "wild man" the whole game, but particuliarlly in the last 2 minutes. The Spurs wanted the game more---and they got it with some "superhuman" effort. The question is---Can the Spurs continue to play at that level without going "flat"? and can the Mavs mount another strong, sustained offensive onslaught?

Go Mavs!

I agree with you pirate. It is a shame that these two teams couldn't have met a little later in the playoffs because this series might determine the NBA winner if they are not too worn out by this series. The past several games have been close and could have gone either way. It was just the Spurs turn to win a close one last night.

I think this series is for the championship. Detroit is looking very vulnerable right now.

Dude, I've watched every game.
I say you haven't been watching too often yourself.
Nowitski can fart and the refs call a foul on the Spurs. Don't believe me? Rumor has it that Mark Cuban is getting nose reduction surgery because of the flatulence expected for Friday night's game....:p

I'm not a fan of any NBA player "whining" to the refs, but I say at this level--if you can get the call for your team- go for it. Don't blame the players for trying---blame the refs for "listening" if they allow their calls to be influenced by the players.
