We go to round 3 where we seperate the pretenders from the contenders. This is the first round in which dist. champs can face one another. Bout 25 years ago, this is where round 1 would have begun. In the first 2 weeks I have correctly picked 11 of the 16 matchups.
Columbus vs Hutto: Too much red for the hungry Hippos, Cardinals pull this one out.
Bridge City vs. Barbers Hill: After this week, the Hill is a 4A team and the Cardinals move on to face the Cardinals for the 3rd straight year.
Cameron vs Gatesville: 1 game playoff, can you say, "Kimbrel"? Lots of playoff experience will move Tommy's Boys to the next round.
Huffman vs Hudson: The Buzz going around is that the Hornets pitching is too much for the Falcons. Hudson advances.
Bellville vs no one this week: Prediction is that the Brahma fans will go to see softball this weekend since the Brahmas are OUT.
