That was interesting. I kept wainting for that guy to jump into a rendition of "Convoy" with those glasses on.

interesting. reminds me of the news story about the female stripper who was some kind of preacher. there are just some things that dont mix.

True, but compared to Preacher Bob over here, her intentions seem so much more sincere and justified.

That guy has been around for 20 years. I used to watch him occassionally. He was always on an independent station usually after midnight. He was kinda funny but you couldn't ever take anything he said seriously.

Just seemed like one of those guys that enjoyed pushing people's buttons. Didn't ever really have a point to what he was doing. Just enjoyed getting people riled up. You know, we have some of those folks on the downlow.;)

Thought this guy had faded out of the scene, though.

This guy's name is Dr. Gene Scott., and like GWood said, he has been around for over 20 years. He used to be on TV in the deep nightime and was really radical, but in recent years he has tried to become more "conventional" and appears sometimes on Sundays. Obviously, this guy is not short on ego, although an educated man, and has been relegated to the "backwaters" of the religious community and has only a handful of followers. He is right up there with the Robert Tilton's of the world.
