The Apaches should be looking to give La Grange a beating after losing 39-0 last year. La Grange is going in injured with Anderle doubtful. Zbranek will start. The senior back-up Qb will have an opportunity to lead this team to victory. La Grange needs someone to step up and take the leadership role. We are still waiting for the seniors to assume their roles as team players and role models for the underclassmen. A winning attitude must be adopted. These guys all played together starting in 2000 on an 8-1 JV team that beat several strong teams including Bay City 4A. Boothe gained 165 yards in 2 quarters against the Apache JVs last year behind the same guys that comprise the starting OL tonight. My hope is he will step up and ask them to give him the opportunity to repeat that performance at the varsity level this evening. In a winning team each player looks out for the rest, AND SUPPORTS THEM. This cohesiveness is what makes a team tough and unbreakable. Will the senior class take the challenge or is it up to the younger guys to carry the load? Good luck Leps!

I know you will miss Anderle, but sometimes back up QB's come on strong and assume the leadership role. Sometimes getting that chance to start does wonders for a player. Good luck to Zbranek and the Leopards tonight.
