Purple AND gold. :p

Pitching - # 1 & 2 both pretty darn good. # 3's a sophomore, but the boy can throw a mean ball (used to play little league against/with # 55 years ago)

Bats - pretty good there, too. HR's hit in both Wharton games by Schrock. DH is a freshman, but don't let his age fool you. ;)

Defense - generally not a lot of errors there.

Should be a good series - GO PANTHERS!

Why no talk about the game? Are there no Liberty Hill folks out there. I miss the good ole days when we played the other hill (Barbers) and Cuero. They have alot of members who could talk about anything. Well if anyone feels so incline to predict or just mention anything about this series...go ahead!

Well, we do have a few, but we can't even compete in numbers with Cuero....even BH. You're pretty much stuck with me for the most part. :p

Sticks are gonna be hot tonight for the Cats & Schrock won't be the only homer over the series. Freshman catcher tags out the tying run. :D

Prediction for the series? Either 2-0 or 2-1, Panthers.

Wow! What a series. The 2 games on Saturday were both extremely competitive and both won by the Columbia Roughncks. Adrian Montoya picked up the win in game 2 and Blake Gupton had the win in game 3. Devin Fletcher hit a bomb in the decicive third game to give the necks a 2 run lead 4-2. The panthers quickly tied it at 4 in the top of the sixth. The roughnecks scored 2 in the bottom of the 6th to go up 6-4 and Shane Minks came in to close out the game in the top of the seventh. Once again...heck of a series, congradulations to Liberty Hill on a great year. Ya'll are a great baseball team with alot of talent and class. I'm sure you will be tough to beat in the next couple of years.

Congrats, Necks. I hear game 2 was something, with Crane only throwing 74 pitches through 7. :( But, that's why they play the games.
