Round Rock 7 on 7 SQT

I was planning on calling Coach Jackson from Round Rock today to see if pools have been released...pool play starts at 9am for every qualifier....usually the teams play 3 games in 3 hours...top team from each pool gets to the semi-finals they break for lunch for an hour and the semi-finals get ramped up at 1pm....two semi-final winners advance to the state tournament...


as soon as I get pools I'll post em here!

Brenham is the 16th team in the SQT.....they'll be ineligible to advance past pool play since they have already qualified for state....

Pools likely won't be released until a day or two before the SQT according to the coach....

if it were me doing the pools this is how I'd do em....of course I haven't been given that privilege by the Round Rock coaches unlike another SQT where I was given the honor of doing the pools!

I'd take Round Rock and Belton in the top 2 pools and in the bottom two give me A&M Consolidated and Cuero...(Brownwood will be down)

I was giving Brownwood the nod just above Cuero. If that was the pool it would be an awesome one to watch.

Round Rock was fairly young..they have 2 stud WR's in Kirkendoll and Anderson..both are D-1 prospects...that is huge in 7 on 7

I know they had a RB who did awesome at the Nike combine. They had a athlete on the team who was an alright DB but better at WR

I imagine the coaches at Round Rock will have a much different pool set up than I had...LOL
