im just happy Tony isn't having as good as year as he did last season! He just rubs me the wrong way.. he sits there and talks about "we needa do something about agressive driving, or somebody else is gunna die in this sport" and then that same weekend he was taking people out... what a D/A:rolleyes:

Terry won 2 Cups (1984, 1996) and Bobby won 1 Cup (2000)...they are the only brothers to have both won the Winston/Nextel Cup...

It would be nice if Mr.Earnhardt was here and him and his son could rack up some cups together...but he was an awsome guy..And everyone will remeber him:clap:

Yes he will definitely be remembered...but I hated Earnhardt Sr, to be honest. I thought he was a dirty driver...and I don't really care what anyone thinks about that. It was awful that he died...especially how he died...but he pushed things too far quite a few times. He was definitely an ambassador for the sport but he was never a favorite of mine.

I've been a NASCAR fan since the late 70's...trust me, he wasn't always beyond reproach the way he is made out today. Like I say...it's awful that he died, but he was no saint.

I can remeber where i was when Earnhardt died. On the golf course of course... My dad had quit midway through the round because he got mad at how bad he sucks and my bro and I werent goignt o quit playing to drive him home. He sat in the truck and when we got done and sat down he told us. i didnt believe him at first. Had to call my nascar buddy to confirm. I like to watch it but after a few laps im out like a light.

there's only one cure for people that think nascar is boring. go to a race in person. at texas motor speedway it's just you and 200,000 of your closest friends. if you have any interest at all, the sound and the smells will get you. if you've been to a race, you know what i mean.

I've been a season ticket holder at TMS the last few years. In fact I'm going up again next month for the Indy Cars and Truck series races. The first race I ever saw there was in 2000 when Dale Jr. got his first win in the Cup series. It's pretty freakin awesome if you ask me...

only been to one truck race. we were sitting by the start/finish line, row 46. perfect seats. there was a wreck and the driver hit the wall in front of us. i believe his name was tony roper. he was flown out to the hospital where he died. that was my one and only truck race.

Our seats for all the races are on the front stretch, section 411, probably 200 yards or so from the start/finish line, about 20 rows up.

A lady my mom works with goes just about every time and the last few times their seats have been about 5-7 rows up and about 30 yards from the start/finish line

anything below rows 10-12 is also known as the sandblast section. my brother sat low on turn 4 one year and said that by the end of the race he could barely see because of all the sand and concrete blown up into his face.

Our seats in April I think were section 424 row 25. About 100 yds from the start finish. Friends of mine have season tickets close to turn 1 on the 5th row. they love those seats. In April walkin back from qualifying the wind was blowin so hard it sucked the beer out the can. Also after the Busch race Kyle Petty, his wife, Robert Loomis( Bobby Labontes crew chief), some crew members from Petty Johnson and Gordons bunch all came to our camp. Pretty neat. and no we weren't in the infield. In November Kyle said he's bringin his dad over. Hopefully it happens. Also Bobby and Terry are going to be in our camp.
