Does the McNeil kid from Dallas Madison play football? If he does, what skill position does he play and what class is he in? That is one fast dude to beat out the Cuero and Sweetwater 100m boys. Congrats to him on a great race!

I was also noticing something I found very odd. The defending Div I Champion Wimberley doesn't seem to be doing anything at the state track meet(do they have anyone that qualified). The two generally go hand in hand, not always but most of the time. That must attest to some great coaching in Texan land. Tatum the Div II Champ is doing really well...

how do you decide a tie for points purposes. Gary is our only representative so its not like we are point contention.

That photo of the 300mh finals show's Avery finishing 7th but what it doesnt show is the hard spill he took on the 3rd hurdle and still finished with not too bad of a time . That Turf burn had to be hurting bad
it looked NASTY but he still ran the 4x400 with some heavy duty bandaids floppin in the wind

Im not going to mention any weather conditions we all know how upset people get when we do that ;)

We all know he only won the hundred because lane two was running into a head wind. I guess if he had pads on he woul dhave won that race.

He's the tailback and he averaged just about a first down per carry last season for Madison. He had 171-1556-22 for his statline from 2005. He only played in 11 games as he sat out one regular season game when he wasn't needed. He really kicked it up in the playoffs last year so I'm looking for a very big season like I watched firsthand from Taurean Henderson in 2000 when he ran for 2,953 yards when Gatesville won state. Even at Madison Shawnbrey is a rare talent and there's a reason so many schools tried to get this kid to leave Madison for a higher profile school when he was a freshman.

He's got most of his line back from last season and they're going to be very big up front again this year as I believe that one of the guys who should be stepping into the starting lineup is a kid who will be a sophomore that's about 6'4 and 250-260. He'll have that in front of him blocking along with three other guys who checked in at the end of last year at 245,280, and 300 respectively. The kid from New Orleans they have at tackle is a man among boys on that line.

Yes! He is their STUD running back. Not only is he fast, but he's bug and can cut. Heard he has been offered by everyone including USC. He is now the 2x defending 100 m champ and is just a junior.

Maybe the Texans will have a chance to draft him down the road.

Well, I guess it'll be the same three medalists competing for the 100m title again next season as well!
