IP scored 10 runs on 11 hits to beat Castleberry 10-2. Beals went 6 innings on the bump given up jus 1 run in the 1st inning and retiring the last 16 batters he faced. Windhorst came in to close the game and gave up 1 run in the 7th. Castleberry went through the whole team lookin for a pitcher. I think they pitched like 6 or 7 guys against us.

Is Fulfer not pitching right now? Is he the one with the sore arm?

no thats me, rusk with the sore arm but my arm is fine now but i have to wait til next week before i can throw. Fulfer pitched the last inning of thursday nights game and was going to pitch game 3 if it went that far but we took care of business and he didn't have to throw.

GWOOD is referring to his little bro that is playing at Wester Oklahoma. I'm not sure how well he has done. I bet he will be home soon and I will find out though.

Swenson only went to Western for one semester. He is back home now and is just going to classes at Vernon.

That's too bad. Kid was a great centerfielder.

he did have a great career...i consider him to be one of my best friends and talk to him on a regular basis and he's still receiving offers from colleges. He was in a terrible situation at Western and wasn't the only person to leave...that guy lost 6 starters as well.

So what was the deal? Coach a jack-ass or what?

oh yeah, another one of my friends went there too, and he is leaving as well. he throws like 88 and they made him start throwing side arm and no he's lost his control. they said he's real into fighting and that's how he tells them to handle their problmes. Said he bangs his head against the dugout when something goes wrong. Don't recommend anyone going there apparently.

The Swenson I am thinking about palyed at the same time as J.C. I remember him at the State Tournament going head on into the centerfield wall at that crappy little stadium they used to play at behind Regan High School in the Ghetto. He also had some wall collisions in Mineral Wells against Wylie.

You wouldn't be yawning if you guys could beat IP in baseball anymore. New AD screwed the pooch in letting Glenn leave town, that is even if he didn't ask Glenn to leave town.
