I was just looking at the 2A and 4A boys pole vault. In 2A a kid from Maypearl won with a vault of 16'6" and in 4A a kid from Midlothian won it with a vault of 17'0.25". That is some outstanding pole vaulting at the HS level:eek:

Gosh that makes me sick yesterday when he was about to leave he told me about that kid throwing that just makes me mad i wanted him to win and i think the whole state thought that to...But he is going to Texas State to throw there and hopefully he does well..

The kid from West Oso is by no means very big it's all technique with him and congratulations to Kaeron for 4th you have 2 more years to get that medal

why does it make you sick? Dominique has been to state 3-4 years in a row already...

It makes him sick because he got beat by a kid from Region IV. Don't you know that the Region IV kids are supposed to get 7th & 8th at state in all events?????;)

Congrats to Whitehead! Like Gobbler Fan said, he's not the biggest kid there but he's strong and has great technique

Amen Bull Butter,, I was proud of the showing Reg IV had....... girls and boys division.........

Sure hope Pancho's daughter is OK.. she had a nasty fall in the Sprint Relay..... :(

Thanks for your concern. She hurt her hamstring but is going to live, however she was very disappointed.
