Kid Contracts Rabies!

An HS Sophmore in Humble was bitten by a bat and lies in the hospital right now fighting Rabies.

He was taking a nap when the bat supposedly bit him.

Man my step brother goes to that school, he told me about it. Thats crazy, i feel for that kid!!!!

I didn't know he was at school. i thought he was at home and fell asleep with the window open.

This is a bad deal...only a few people have survived rabies after beginning to exhibit clinical symptoms. The last person that they got to survive was actually put into a drug induced coma for many weeks in order to let the brain heal.

Yea, I couldnt get the link to open earlier to read the story, but was finally able to. He was at home, in an upstairs room, with the window open. Sorry for the confusion. :doh:
