Are you ready for some Texas High School Football? I know I am.. Hard to believe I've been watching my boys play school sports since 1990 and this coming season, my youngest will graduate :( I sure have enjoyed it :)

Thanks for the article Chris..... looking forward to reading more as they are written :)

Maybe it's just me, but I think at least one of those 40 times might be a little "smudged!"

It's been a while since I've really posted anything. I've just been reading mostly but I noticed something in that report that really got me excited about football for this season. So here goes. I don't know if they are or not but if they are legit (or even very close to it) then it is going to be hard for any team anywhere in the state to compete with that. That's insane...to have that many kids run a 4.4 forty is unbelievable. I'm not knocking the credibility of these times but I just want to say that if they are for real and barring some unforeseen circumstance (injuries, terrible coaching, death) then I don't see a single team that can play with these kids. The reason that I say that is speed kills on the football field. You can catch and contain strength and size with speed, and you can even stop talent and schemes with speed. The only thing that beats speed (considering that the fundamentals are all there) is more speed and frankly there isn't a team that I know of in 3A coming up that has more than what Cuero claims to have. That's my two cents.

Noack QB- 4x400 state qualifying relay team also Regional qualifier in the 400m
Gray WR/DB- Regional Finalist in the 100mAlternate on the 4x100 4x200
Olguin RB--won 2 golds last year in Austin 4x100 4x200----Pulled Hamstring running earlier in track season or would be running in Austin
Scott WR/SS- Regional Finalist in the 110 Hurdles , run's on the 4x100 and 4x200 which will be in Austin
Hargrove FB/DE- Will be in Austin running in the 100m and the 4x100 and 4x200 2 gold's in Austin last year
Ruiz WR/DB-running on all three relay's in Austin 4x100, 4x200, 4x400

Not saying this proves those times but Cuero does have some speed anyway you look at it .

I believe those numbers. Seen them play at La Grange, and these guys are fast.

That's the main reason they went 13-1.

Hate to burst ur bubble...but Noack is not 4.4, and certainly not 6' 0".......good QB though!
