Do many HS baseball teams have a warm-up game between rounds?

I think many of the teams that have the first round bye have warm-up games. We had Gatesville and Taylor for ours.

This is very common. The teams that have bye's want to stay as normal as possible. They will try to set up at least one, sometimes two, warm-up games just to keep a normal schedule. Some coaches feel this keeps the players focused while others use the bye week for some much needed rest.
